NMS CARES, the official charity bureau of New Media Services Pty. Ltd., is thrilled to welcome Ara Paz Ezperanza G. Villanueva as new General Manager.

Ms. Villanueva, a licensed special education teacher, is set to spearhead projects in line with the bureau’s mission to improve the lives of Deaf youth in the Philippines.

“Being around kids with special needs has by far been the most rewarding decision I made in my life, said Ms. Villanueva who worked with top special schools in the Philippines including Sun Flower Children’s Center, Northern Luzon Association for the Blind, San Lorenzo Ruiz Institute, Saint Louis University, Miriam College- Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf and Play and Say Therapy Center Baguio City.

NMS CARES consistently supported Baguio City Special Education (SPED) Center Hearing Impaired Sequence and is now extending to more Deaf learners in other parts of the Philippines through its ‘Donate An Old iPad” drive.

“Small steps go a long way. What had been started by the company radiates a brighter opportunity for those whom we advocate for,” expressed Ms. Villanueva who revealed that part of her plans is to conduct sign language lessons to New Media Services employees.

She is joined by two Deaf SPED teachers Mr. Ian Lester Kingat and Ms. Yvonne Mia Celeste in the NMS CARES team who will soon work as project implementers, faculty trainers and visiting teachers for the success of the charitable efforts by the Australian company.
