January 26 – New Media Services, an Australian IT-based company, extends its goal to be the leading provider of business support solutions by going beyond the company enrichment and organizing activities that help the people in developing their skills and knowledge.
On January 22, the Creative Team, who are in charge of the company systems and applications through web designs and programming, spearheaded a tour to help the future practitioners of Information Technology have a clear and realistic view in their chosen field. Known as the Tour de Creative, it would be a brief but substantial walk through inside the operation office of New Media Services.
The delegates were IT students who came all the way from the University of Batangas Lipa City. After the company overview provided by the Head of Human Resources Karlo Andrei Aguilar, the 12 batches of delegates were given a tour inside the office learning about the tasks of each department, basic web development processes, and the important of the cloud-based platforms in keeping the order and efficiency of the operations.
A short oral quiz was immediately followed where the answers came with a prize. There were also students who received special awards because of their social media presence concerning the event, and testimonies by interns about the company as a good opportunity and avenue for training and career.
